8th Annual Car Show Saturday, June 7
The
8th annual car show will be on Saturday, June 7, 2008 from
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Guymon, Oklahoma, on the east side of Sunset
Lake. Entry fee is $25 and each entrant will receive a free t-shirt
and a dash plaque.
Give aways include a Turbo 350 transmission donated by Dale Gribble,
Flow Master Mufflers donated by Muffler Haus, a pressure washer
donated by Baber Supply in Texhoma, and a GPS tracking system. There
will be door prizes and a 50/50 pot. Other events include a dunking
booth, concession stand, poker run and burn out contest. For $20,
you can enter for a chance at a 18-foot Challenger car trailer (black
dovetail).
On Friday, June 6, at 7 p.m. at the Pickle Creek Building (Located
west of AutoZone), Don and Pam Scott will host the Phil Kittle
Annual Cookout. It is free to registrants and includes a hamburger
feed and a cruise following the cookout that will end up at Sonic
where everybody will enjoy ice cream.

Classes include Original Antique, Modified, Special Interest, Street Rod, Muscle Car, Pre-60s Pickup, Post-60s Pickup, Classic Car 1940-49, Classic Car 1950-59, Classic Car 1960-69, Cars 1970-Present.
Three trophies in each class, Best of Show and Long Distance. Dash Plaques given to each entry that turns in a vote by 1:00 p.m. Car dealer cash prizes awarded.
In
the case of inclement weather on the day of the show, we have shelter
for the car show vehicles within a half mile of the event.
